The Story Behind The Print

At all times are brave words.
David was not writing from a life untouched by fear. Psalm 34 was born out of danger and deliverance, and later speaks honestly of troubles, affliction and broken hearts. His praise is not the language of someone pretending everything is fine.
It is the response of someone who has discovered that God remains worthy in the middle of it all.
Praise does not mean calling pain good or denying the weight of what we carry. It means refusing to let our circumstances have the final word about the character of God. His goodness does not rise and fall with the ease of our lives. He is still faithful, still near and still worthy of our trust.
Paired with Childe Hassam’s garden scene, the verse feels full of life. Flowers grow at different heights, colours gather almost unexpectedly, and the whole garden seems to lift itself towards the light.
Some seasons feel like this—bright, fruitful and overflowing.
Others do not.
Yet praise is not reserved for the days when everything is blooming. It turns our eyes from the gifts to the Giver and reminds our hearts that God Himself remains our deepest joy.

A beautiful print, with the words to ‘Be Still My Soul’ underneath. The print color is exactly what I saw on the website. It is on sturdy stock, and came in a timely manner. I will order more from this company!
