To trust the Lord with all our heart does not mean abandoning wisdom or thoughtful decisions. It means refusing to make our own understanding the foundation beneath us.
We see only part of the story.
God sees the whole.
That is what I love about pairing these words with the sea.
The waves are constantly moving, the horizon stretches beyond what we can see, and so much remains outside our control.
Faith can feel like that.
We still make plans. We still take the next faithful step. But we do not have to know every outcome before we move forward.
In all your ways acknowledge Him.
Bring Him into the decision. The waiting. The uncertainty.

The promise is not that God will make every path easy.
It is that He is worthy of our trust as He leads us.

Beautiful vibrant picture! I would share a picture but the frame I ordered to go with it I have to trade out. But the print is wonderful and the scripture near and dear to me and my daughter’s heart. This picture is for her bedroom. She loved it as well! Her room is white and creams. This green with the white is perfect and stands out but in a classic unique pattern with the best scripture.
