In Matthew 6, Jesus speaks to the worries that so easily fill our minds: what we need, what tomorrow may bring and whether we will have enough.
He does not dismiss those concerns. Instead, He asks us to look at the flowers of the field.
They do not labour to make themselves beautiful, yet God clothes them with a splendour no human effort could reproduce. Their lives are brief, but they are not overlooked by their Creator.
Then Jesus turns the question towards us:
Will He not much more clothe you?
The comfort of this verse is not that life will always feel secure or unfold as we expect. It is that our heavenly Father knows what we need. We are not anonymous to Him, nor are our lives left to chance.

A beautiful print, with the words to ‘Be Still My Soul’ underneath. The print color is exactly what I saw on the website. It is on sturdy stock, and came in a timely manner. I will order more from this company!
