Psalm 113 begins and ends with the same invitation:
Praise the Lord.
From the first light of morning to the final glow of evening, His name is worthy of praise. Not only on the days that feel full of joy, or when His goodness is easy to recognise, but through every ordinary hour and every changing season.
The psalm gives us a beautiful reason why. God is exalted above every nation; His glory is higher than the heavens. Yet He is not distant or indifferent. He bends low to see, raises the poor from the dust and draws near to those the world so easily overlooks.
The God who reigns above all things is also tenderly involved in the lives of His people.

A beautiful print, with the words to ‘Be Still My Soul’ underneath. The print color is exactly what I saw on the website. It is on sturdy stock, and came in a timely manner. I will order more from this company!
